April 25-26 – YCB attending the 2024 Tourism Industry Association Compass Spring Conference in Whitehorse and the Whitehorse Chamber of Commerce Business Awards in partnership with TIAY’s Tourism Awards.
The conference was held between multiple venues, including YCB Members, Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre, MacBride Museum, Yukonstruct, and Belly of the Bison and included a YCB sponsored session from Melissa Cole of Say Something Communications. Melissa offered insight on developments in her own tourism/event planning business to battle the labour shortage.
YCB Sales Manager, Jennifer Logtenberg was awarded the 2024 Tourism Ambassador of the Year from TIAY at the Chamber Awards event.
This was the first time in 4 years the conference was held in Yukon and 10 years since being held in Whitehorse.
