February 2-4, 2025 – The Yukon Convention Bureau and Partners travelled to Edmonton, Alberta for the GoWest Conference and Trade show. This year repeated the GoWest Hosted Buyer Program and YCB bought in for the opportunity to meet planners one-on-one, for a 15-minute sessions in the Yukon decorated suite on Sunday, February 2.
YCB hosted 11 appointments of event planners and reconnected with many others during this event. This program was in lieu of exhibiting on the trade show floor during the full two-day event on February 3-4. Instead of hosting a booth, YCB and partners enjoyed workshops and sessions while networking with others in the industry.
YCB and partners attended the Welcome Reception at Roger’s Place (home to the Edmonton Oilers), the MPI Edmonton social event at CRAFT Brewing and hosted planners for meals during these 3 days.
YCB looks forward to being in the Alberta market and continues to look for new opportunities to connect with event planners and decision makers aiming to bring MICE business to the territory.
