March 23–26, 2026 – Whitehorse, Yukon

Yukon Convention Bureau (YCB) was pleased to host four meeting and event planners from across Canada for a Winter Familiarization (FAM) Tour in Whitehorse, including two from the Greater Toronto Area, one from Ottawa, and one from Vancouver.

This year’s program delivered an authentic northern winter experience, with fresh snowfall, crisp temperatures, and the kind of conditions that truly showcase the Yukon’s seasonal appeal. From vibrant cultural venues to unique off-site experiences, our guests had the opportunity to explore the depth and versatility of Whitehorse and surrounding areas as a meetings and events destination.

FAM tours like these play an important role in connecting decision-makers with local partners, allowing them to experience firsthand the venues, accommodations, and activities available when planning conferences and events in the Yukon.

Over the course of the tour, guests visited key locations throughout Whitehorse and beyond, including the Takhini Hot Springs Road region and surrounding areas, while engaging directly with YCB members through site inspections, dining experiences, and curated activities.

A sincere thank you to the following members and partners whose collaboration, hospitality, and support made this program a success:
