Who are we?
The Yukon Convention Bureau (YCB) is a membership-based Destination Marketing Organization (DMO). We’re charged with marketing Yukon as a favorable destination for meetings and events both within and outside the territory. Our members believe that developing a sustainable meeting and convention industry will enhance the quality of life for all Yukoners.
What do we do?
FOR MEMBERS: We implement an aggressive, long-term marketing plan, promoting our members’ products. We provide our membership with meeting and convention sales leads. We connect our members to event planners and the hundreds of dignitaries that come through the territory annually.
FOR PLANNERS: We offer assistance to planners looking for a location for their next convention. We determine the availability of the appropriate facilities and provide an action plan. We issue RFP’s to suppliers and compile the responses into a bid. The bid includes price quotes, information about the community, and welcoming quotes from local dignitaries.
