Yukon Convention Bureau (YCB) recently traveled to Ottawa, Ontario, to participate in the Ottawa Venue Series held at the Westin Downtown Hotel and to host a dedicated sales luncheon.
The event featured 8-minute speed meetings designed to connect YCB with event planners, allowing us to share the unique advantages of booking events in Yukon. YCB successfully engaged with 21 event planners during these sessions, providing updates on Yukon’s latest developments and introducing our offerings to those unfamiliar with our region.
The following day, YCB hosted a luncheon for eight planners at the Social Restaurant in downtown Ottawa. The hour-long presentation covered travel services, accommodations, catering options, and activities available in Yukon. The planners responded positively to the in-depth information while enjoying their meal.
YCB continues to focus on the Ottawa market due to its significant potential for association business and future meetings and conferences. We look forward to building more relationships and showcasing what Yukon has to offer.
