On November 14, YCB hosted its 16th Annual Red Carpet Tour featuring services and products our YCB Members provide to Events, Conferences, and Meetings across the Yukon.
This year’s Red Carpet Tour saw a total of 9 participants from various government departments and the private sector.
Thanks to the Beringia Interpretative Centre for kicking off the event and for the Westmark Whitehorse for catering the breakfast.
Our ground transportation sponsor, Standard Bus, drove the group around all day to properties for site visits which included Mt Mac Curling Club, Yukon Transportation Museum, Skky Hotel & Tony’s Pasta & Seafood Restaurant, Coast High Country Inn, Edgewater Hotel, Kwanlin Dun Cultural Centre, the newly opened North Light Innovation Hub to tour (co) space & Yukonstruct’s new spaces and the Westmark Whitehorse Hotel.
After a tour of the new expansion at the MacBride Museum, we sat down to a delicious lunch catered by The Claim Cafe, while Heather from Air North and Kurt from Raven Inn passed along information about future bookings and news of what to look forward to with both Airline and Hotel.
In the afternoon, we visited the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, and Lumel Studios. We learned about the various pre and post meeting activities there are to do in and around Whitehorse.
We wrapped up the day with bites and samples from the Woodcutter’s Blanket new menu and YCB drew names for door prizes.
Thank you to all of our members, partners and sponsors for helping make this day possible – we couldn’t do it without you!
A big thank you to our sponsors and partners:
