Yukon Convention Bureau Builds Connections at CMEE 2026
The Yukon Convention Bureau (YCB) recently joined meeting and event professionals from across Canada at the Canadian Meetings + Events Expo (CMEE), held August 11–12, 2026 in Toronto. Now in its 35th year, CMEE brings together meeting planners and suppliers for two days of networking, education, innovation and new business opportunities.
For Team Yukon, CMEE was a valuable opportunity to connect directly with meeting and event planners, generate new leads and reconnect with planners who have worked with Yukon in the past. Conversations throughout the expo focused on new group opportunities and sharing why Yukon is a distinctive and memorable destination for meetings, conferences, incentive travel and events.
YCB also participated in REVEAL Social: Summer Nights on August 10, the official opening party for CMEE 2026. Held aboard The Empress of Canada at Toronto’s Polson Pier, the evening brought planners, destination representatives and industry professionals together for an informal evening of networking on the waterfront, followed by a 45-minute cruise with views of the Toronto skyline.
YCB was pleased to be joined at REVEAL Social and CMEE by valued Yukon partners Air North, and Northern Vision Development Hotelier properties, strengthening the Yukon presence and providing planners with an opportunity to connect with a broader range of Yukon’s tourism, transportation and accommodation offerings.
Together, these events provided a great platform to showcase the Yukon as a destination where business, adventure and unforgettable experiences come together. The connections made at CMEE and REVEAL Social have opened the door to exciting new conversations, and YCB looks forward to building on these relationships and welcoming future meetings and events to Yukon.
